Tests

  • Individual tests: Paddleboard 500m and Fin Swimming.
  • Tests in pairs: Mixed Tube Rescue and 2x70m Mixed Sprint.

Paddleboard 500m

Athletes must complete a 500m course between buoys, paddling with a paddleboard. The test starts and finishes on the sand.

Mixed Tube Rescue

Test in pairs: the first athlete (victim simulation) swims to a buoy positioned 100m from the sand; upon arriving there, they touch the buoy and wave to the sand. At this moment, the second athlete (rescuer simulation), equipped with a rescue tube and fins, starts their course towards their partner. Upon arrival, the rescuer wraps the rescue tube around the victim and both return as quickly as possible, finishing the test on the sand and with all equipment together. This mixed test must be composed of one man and one woman; the definition of roles is at the discretion of the participants.

2x70m Mixed Sprint

70m course marked on the sand. After the start signal, the first competitor runs at the highest possible speed towards their partner and passes a baton to characterize the transition. Next, the partner runs the same 70m towards the finish line.

Fin Swimming

Athletes start lying on the sand and, after the start signal, run in the opposite direction for approximately 20m to reach a baton fixed in the sand. The number of batons is always one less than the number of participants (e.g., 8 participants, 7 batons) - with each round one participant is eliminated until the champions are defined.

Awards
